Local IMS Magic Clubs

Satellite of the International Magicians Society

otherwise known as: IMS Satellite 26 - John Doe’s Chapter (as an example)

If there is no IMS local magic club in your own community and you would like to start one, which will be part of a very large organization, then you could start an IMS Satellite with the subtitle "your name" Chapter. As an example: IMS Satellite 54 is Jerry Foster’s Chapter out of Virginia. Please read the following page to decide whether this is something you want to do.

With your local magic club (IMS Satellite), we will give you the blueprints and all the help you need to start it and successfully run it. We’ll provide you with DVD’s that will show you what to do at each meeting and which tricks to teach to your new members, as well as how to teach them, etc.

As your new members begin to learn their newfound hobby, you can have contests. And the contest winners from each IMS Satellite will then be invited to Las Vegas for the annual contest and the winner will receive the IMS International Magic Championship and possibly a contract to work at a Las Vegas Casino.

Of course, there are many other benefits that your club members will receive. The most rewarding is to learn magic, practice among peers at the club meetings, share ideas at club meetings, etc.

You can organize your club meeting at a local library, public schools, or any other meeting rooms you could get free from the community, such as Freemasons clubs, Rotary Clubs, various veteran‘s Clubs, Elks Clubs, Knights of Columbus, and possibly local churches. We will even show you how you can recruit new members. If you recruit younger students for your club, then most schools or libraries will be happy to help provide you with the space for meetings once a month.

If you are interested in starting your own IMS Satellite, please e-mail us at satellites@magicims.com.
